Encourage understanding through theatrical tools and games in our Exploring Immersive Theatre Workshop.
What we are providing
Our exploring immersive theatre workshop for Foundation Phase uses games and exercises to explore the chosen topic.
The facilitator will guide the children through an imagined world where they will meet obstacles and challenges that together as a group they will be asked to overcome by finding solutions and deciphering puzzles. These sessions are perfect to develop team working skills, suspending disbelief and allowing yourself to be immersed in the story, developing a deeper understanding of the topic and helping to grow confidence.
Workshop Themes
Exploring the Mabinogi – Through an interactive treasure hunt the children learn the story of Branwen before becoming time travelling explorers who go back in time to the 11th Century to join Bran the Blessed and save Branwen from her fate. The team of time travelling explorers will have obstacles to overcome to achieve their desired outcome.
The School of Planet Powers for Extraordinary Children – 'Plastic Pete' the enemy of the school and the environment has invented a massive tree-chopping machine and is chopping down hundreds of trees in the Amazon. Destroying the natural habitat for the Orangutangs to build a massive factory to make more plastic. The children must stop him and save the Orangutangs.
Workshop Details
Max Participants - 30 children (one class)
Location - School hall or large open space
Length of workshop - 1 hour
The facilitator would need access to the space 30 minutes before the workshop.

Cost for the 1hr Workshop £150 (£5 per child)
