Spark creativity and enthusiasm for learning with our Devising Immersive Theatre Workshop.
What we are providing
Our workshop is based on the basic principles of immersive theatre, participation, interaction, game, narrative and communicating with the space around you. Whichever theme you pick the workshop will give the participants a deeper understanding of the topic.
The theme is introduced through an interactive game that will challenge and engage pupils and will set the foundation for the devising work that will flesh out the performance. Other games and exercises will help develop confidence, concentration, physical agility and connection between the brain and the body. Participants will have the opportunity to both perform in the devised piece of immersive theatre as well as navigate the piece as a participant/audience member.
Workshop Themes
The School of Planet Powers for Extraordinary Children - This environmentally focused workshop will take the children on an adventure where they will discover small changes that they can make in their life that will make a big difference whilst defeating the evil Plastic Pete. (This is a more advanced and in depth version of the KS1 workshop of the same name)

Max Participants 30 children (one class)
Location School Hall or large open space
Length of Workshop 2hrs (this can be adapted to a 1hr workshop if preferred)
Workshop Costs
Costs for the 2hr Workshop £250 (£8 per child)
