Business Partner & Co-Producer – Theatre Production Arm of Immersive Experience Company

About EA Productions

Eleanor Appleton, the founder of EA Productions, is seeking a business partner to help elevate the company’s productivity and establish it as a leading force in the immersive theatre world. Inspired by trailblazers like Secret Cinema, Punchdrunk, and Parabolic Theatre, Eleanor is passionate about integrating cutting-edge digital technologies such as VR and AR to create extraordinary immersive experiences. She’s looking for a like-minded, enthusiastic, and creative individual to help bring these visions to life.

The immediate priority for EA Productions is an immersive environmental children’s show, which has already secured two rounds of Arts Council Wales funding for its R&D phases. The next step is to move this project to full production.

Key Expectations

This role requires a commitment of two working days per week. Candidates must understand that financial remuneration will depend on the company’s success, with efforts now aimed at achieving mutual long-term goals.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a dynamic individual with the following qualifications and attributes:

Essential Experience:

- Producing immersive theatre, including sourcing non-traditional performance spaces.

- Entrepreneurial mindset to creatively navigate challenges, manage income streams, and complete funding applications.

- Strong arts network across North to Mid Wales, the Northwest of England, and beyond.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience in arts management or working within small companies.

- Proficiency in marketing and sales.

- A balance of creative vision and practical execution.

- Financial management and accounting skills.

- Resilience, dedication, and the ability to work independently.
